Fenêtre
Driven by a desire to explore new sonic territories on the cello, an instrument he rarely showcases, Pierre-Yves Le Jeune has initiated the creation of a new musical duo.
With his partner, guitarist Hervé Morisot, they explore, for the sheer pleasure of sound, the vibrations of bowed and plucked strings, and direct, sensitive expression, all within the simplicity of acoustics.
Pierre-Yves's music draws inspiration from a repertoire of Parisian folk music, film scores, and original compositions. South American and Mediterranean rhythms playfully infuse the musette waltz.
Fenêtre is a duo that brings together two surprising musicians in constant dialogue, improvising with unadorned joy.
Together, through the simple pleasure of playing, they reinvent and rediscover rarely heard music.

Pierre-Yves Le Jeune : cello
He began his career as a bassist in the early 1990s in Brittany. In 2006, wishing to broaden his experience with bowed strings, he turned to the study of classical cello with Amandine Robillard and Jean-Guihen Queyras.
A curious and versatile musician, he is also involved in numerous jazz and electronic music projects (Lifescape, Sayag Jazz Machine, etc.), which have led him to perform regularly on French stages (Rock en Seine, Ososphère, Scopitone, La Cigale, etc.) as well as international ones (Sziget Festival, Akbank Festival in Istanbul, etc.).
Throughout his career, he has also played alongside artists such as Titi Robin, Jacques Higelin, Doctor L, and Sofiane Saidi.

Hervé Morisot : guitar
He began learning guitar, piano, and music theory at the age of 7 with accordionist René Fernando, and at 11 continued his musical journey independently.
Since the age of 13, he has composed and recorded demos solo using guitars, bass, piano, and percussion. At 14, he discovered Brazilian music with Chico Buarque, and later jazz with Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea, and others.
Jazz and Brazilian music became his preferred paths for their musical richness and their spirit of freedom and openness.
In Paris since 2000, Hervé has worked as an electric and acoustic guitarist, accompanist, and soloist with numerous jazz, Brazilian, and world music singers and musicians.
